Jewish Response to the Energy Challenge

On November 9, 2009, Jewish thought leaders will meet to mark the launch of a new generational movement for clean energy. This conference, which will be held in San Francisco, California, will explore various themes within the Jewish clean energy movement (e.g. environmental stewardship, fuel efficiency standards and fleets, economic development, U.S.-Israel security through CleanTech collaboration, etc.), followed by an afternoon program with more in depth break-out sessions. The event will also feature a marketplace of clean energy initiatives with informational booths, so that participants can learn more about ways to get involved.To maximize the impact of the session, the conference will also be offered as a Webcast, streaming live footage online.
